About JP Instruments
Established in 1986, J.P. Instruments pioneered and is the market leader for Engine Data Monitoring (EDM) systems for aircraft engines. By recording hundreds of engine parameters every second, our systems reduce operating costs, increase engine reliability, and simplify aircraft maintenance. We hold Supplemental Type Certificates allowing upgrades to most Certified Aircraft. We have 9 paid holidays, Best BlueCross medical, and 401k.

Aircraft Specialist
Does not require a degree, but a strong knowledge of General Aviation Aircraft as well as Kit Planes. Planes like Cessna 182, Piper PA-28-140 or Mooney M20J. A mechanics knowledge of Lycoming and Continental engines. JPI has a person in this capacity now but do to the demand needs help. Some FAA knowledge of gauge markings and limitations would be a plus

Computer Programer
• Should have 5 years experience. Must know C, C++ and VB.Net for Microsoft Windows.
• Knowledge of building software installers a plus.
• Will relocate to California.

Sr. Firmware Engineer
• Should have minimum 5 years embedded systems experience.
• Must know C , C++, & RTOS programming. IAR tools and critical systems development a plus.
• Will relocate to California.

Mechanical Designer
Must have working knowledge of Autocad R-14 or SolidWorks and be able to design prototype models. Should also have enough experience and knowledge to be able to set own project goals, and work on his/her own, with minimal supervision. Relocation and moving costs available.
